Becky received her BA in Theatre and Art History with minors in Graphic Design and Art from St. Ambrose University in Davenport Iowa in May of 2022. During her time there she has had the opportunity to work on expanding her skills.
Technical experiences include props designing for Tartuffe, puppet designing for The Little Prince, Romeo and Juliet, assistant stage-managing Time Stands Still, and The Little Prince, stage managing Take-Two, and scenic designing for Two Rooms, The Lesson, and Proof. Also while being a full-time student she was also able to hold the Assistant Technical Director position at St. Ambrose since February 2022.
Professional theatre experiences include a tech internship at The Grand Opera House in Dubuque, IA during the summer of 2021. She also had the experience of being the scenic designer and technical director for Haus of Ruckus’ original play “Jacques”alope at the Mockingbird on Main in Davenport, IA. She is currently working on creating the scenery for the next production of their original play “Pants”labyrinth. Recently she has been hired as a scenic artist for Circa’ 21 Dinner Playhouse in Rock Island, Il. She has worked on Circa’s productions of Beauty and the Beast and Disaster! The Musical, and she is currently scenic designing for Circa’s upcoming production of Clue The Musical.
Becky’s awards include The Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival (Region 5) Certificate of Merit for Scenic Design for Two Rooms and Commendation for Puppetry Construction for The Rose in The Little Prince.
She has also recently been seen on stage as Tilly in She Kills Monsters and was nominated for the Irene Ryan Acting Scholarship. She also played the voice acting role of Romeo in Romeo and Juliet.
